The three students – Akwasi Adu Donkor, Raphael Owusu Appiah and Kwadwo Osei Asubonteng – were arrested by the Kumasi Central police for attacking a taxi driver and snatching his taxi cab at gunpoint on Thursday, August 11.
School authorities were informed by the police Friday dawn and it was confirmed that the suspects were indeed students of Opoku Ware School.
“It is on record that the three suspects had been withdrawn from the boarding house,” the school said in a statement on Tuesday, August 16.

Both teams are in Group E in zone 2 of the 2nd Division of the Western Regional Football Association. This game promises to be an interesting one because of tension and also the huge number of supporters the game will attract.
It will be the first competitive game between the two sides. Agona Ahanta FC who will play host to Aboadiman FC in this fixture has started the season on a good note. They have played 3 matches, won 2 and drew 1 and are yet to taste a defeat.
The travellers Aboadiman FC are enjoying a scintillating first season in the 2nd division with 5 matches played and are yet to taste a defeat. They have won 3 matches and have drawn 2 which put them on the summit of the Group 3 in zone 2 of the WRFA league log with 11points.
HOW TACTICS COULD PLAY A MAJOR ROLE IN THIS FIXTURE.
The two communities that these two clubs hail from coincidentally believe in one brand of football, that is playing possessive football to get results. Agona Ahanta FC boost of one of the best coaches on the Ahanta land as far as the 2nd division is concerned.

He has collected 11 points out of the possible 15 points that were available and have scored an impressive 10 goals in the process. Aboadi community is known for their kente style of play, Champagne and entertaining football.
Coach Blinks and Figo born and raised in Aboadi have the same style of football thread in their minds. Coach Blinks like his rival Coach Manzu, prefers the fluid 4-3-3 with sharp attackers, brilliant midfielders and resolute defenders because of the stature of his players, who are naturally not physical compared to his opponent.
There are similarities in tactics and formation but the selection of the coaches on the day will have a big impact on the game. Fairly coach Manzu has the upper hand on this game because of his experience in the league.

Kofi Anto, the son of legendary Ghanaian goalkeeper Robert Mensah, has reportedly committed suicide.
A report by broadcaster and reggae artiste, Blakk Rasta indicates that Kofi Anto died earlier this week.
Blakk Rasta narrates that Anto hanged himself in his room after driving away his son who was around him.
Excerpt of the report reads “family said three days ago, Kofi Anto seemed uneasy and asked his son who was playing around him to go out and play and not make so much noise around him. It was this opportunity he took to hang himself.”
Kofi Anto, in a recent interview with Blakk Rasta, opened up on the struggles he was enduring.
He disclosed being under pressure to auction his father’s legendary cap to foot his medical bills but vowed to protect his father’s legacy.

He said , the vision of the president Nana Addo and Npp government is to help every child in this country to have access to education and he is doing it more than expected. He said the Npp government brought free SHS and they need to expand the infrastructures in various schools and that have made Besiease SHS to get their share.
